Chandra L. Justice Joins Johnson Law Group

Chandra L. Justice has joined the Johnson Law Group where she will be practicing as a criminal defense attorney. Prior to joining the group, Chandra was employed as an Assistant State's Attorney, a member of the National Crime Prevention Council, and as a contract Assistant Public Defender. She also managed her own private practice in Peoria IL for the past 10 years.

Chandra has successfully handled multiple high profile criminal cases, including murder, robbery, weapons, drug cases and the like over the past decade. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2000 and the Federal Bar in 2002.

Chandra graduated from Saint Mary's College Notre Dame in 1996, where she double majored in philosophy and political science, and Villanova University School of Law where she obtained her JD in 1999. She was a participant in the University of Notre Dame Semester Around the World Program where she studied at Stella Maris College in Madras India and where she visited various shrines, temples and villages in Asia (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Nepal) and studied various religions and political structures while interning with Mother Teresa at her orphanage in Calcutta India.
